Welcome to my site- This blog is the unedited musings that surface as I work on my first book: “That’s Allowed Here: An Invitation to Redefined Womanhood.” Thank-you for your time in checking out my writing and for passing Kavannah.blogspot.com along to those you feel would benefit. You’re a key part in my pursuit of passionate living and I appreciate you.
Best,
Stephanie Lind

There is a benediction we have at my church after our communion service that finishes this way:
"Direct us now by your Spirit in all our ways. Stir us to live lives to your glory. Make us faithful witnesses to Jesus and his resurrection, eager for the joy of his coming, and made worthy to worship you with all your saints forever."
True for you and Matt, I'd say!
May God bless you on your mission and grant you true humility and his peace.

GOD'S LOVE is like an island
in lifes oceanvast and wide
apeacful, quiet shelter
from the restless, rising tide...
GOD'S LOVE is like an anchor
when the angry billows roll-
a mooring in the storms of life
a stronghold for ythe soul ...
GOD'S LOVE is like a fortress
and wee seek protection there
when the waves of tribulation
seem to drown us in despair...
GOD'S LOVE is like a harbor
where are souls can find sweet rest
from the struggle and th tension
of lifes fast and futile quest...
GOD'S LOVE is like a beacon
burning bright with FAITH and PRAYER
and through the changing scenes of life
we can find a HAVEN THERE!
